Blue Devil Development Day

Details

Dates: Sunday September 22, 2024 (2:30 PM - 6:30 PM)

Tuition: $125

(An online convenience fee will be added upon registration)

Ages: Girls 8 - 14

Level: Recreation, Classic, Youth Academy, Elementary & Middle School players are encouraged to attend. Players will be grouped by age / skill level.

2:45-3:20 TRAINING STATION I & COMPETITIONS
3:20-3:35 ROTATION / BREAK
3:35-4:10 TRAINING STATION II & COMPETITIONS
4:10-4:30 BREAK 
4:30-5:15 ATHLETIC FACILITY TOUR, PRESENTATION, Q&A (SNACK BREAK)
5:15-5:30 SET UP FOR SMALL SIDED GAMES
5:30-6:30 SMALL SIDED GAMES

 

Clinic Overview
Our Blue Devil Development Day is designed for girls ages 8-14 at all skill levels. The focus will be on improving technique (such as ball control, passing, dribbling, 1v1s, shooting, defending, etc.) and learning the Duke Way. Players will work with the coaching staff and current Duke Women's soccer players in a variety of fun and challenging activities and competitions. Campers will get to tour Duke athletic facilities, interact with Duke Women's Soccer players and conclude the day with small-sided games. 

 

Additional Information

•    Goalkeeper-specific training is available
•    Each player should bring a ball to ensure that they get the most from their experience

 

Training Facilities
ID Clinic with be held at the Cohan Turf Fields. As the start of camp approaches, we will email with parking information.
