Our Junior Elite Summer Camp is designed for girls that are rising 5th-8th graders. The camp curriculum is designed to develop the tactical awareness and technical skills needed for promising young players to advance in their soccer careers. Training sessions and games are designed to challenge all levels of ability. This camp is intended to provide a high-quality training environment from an elite program, teach campers about the demands of elite soccer, and give an on-campus view of the Duke University women’s soccer program.

Additional Information

• Goalkeeper-specific training is available
• Player and camp training group/team assignments are done in the week prior to camp
• Training groups/teams are assigned by age (possibly size) and there are no more than 15-16 campers per group/team
• Our Junior Elite Camp is also open to club teams, but we require eight players from your team sign-up to train together
• All campers need shinguards
• Bring a soccer ball

Health and Safety

Certified athletics trainers will also be at all field sessions. Water, Gatorade, and ice are available at all training sessions but it is recommended that players bring a small water bottle for use during games. There will be plenty of water breaks for these young players to remain hydrated in the North Carolina heat.
