Ice, Water, & Gatorade
We provide water, Gatorade, and ice at all training sessions for all our camps.
Allergies & Medications
A certified athletic trainer will be available at check in to discuss individual medical needs as well as collect any medications such as epi-pens and refrigerated prescriptions. It is at the parent/guardian’s discretion whether the trainer administers medication or if the camper is responsible.
At least one female camp staff member will stay overnight on each floor of the camp dorms.
Athletic Trainers/Medical Facilities
|Certified athletics trainers will be available at all times for all our camps. Each field area will have a trainer assigned to it.
At each camp check in, our trainers will have a station to go over each camper’s medical information/records.
For overnight camps, our trainers will stay in the dorms and will be on call at all times.
Our athletic trainers may treat minor injuries and illnesses, but will refer a camper to a doctor/emergency room should it be necessary.
In Durham, the emergency room at Duke Hospital will be used for emergencies.
