AIR CONDITIONING: We’re happy to say that all our dorm rooms used for camp have air conditioning. Your camper is welcome to bring an additional fan.
CAMP BANK: We provide an optional camp bank. You can deposit money for your camper to use throughout camp at the camp store (the usual amount is somewhere between $20-$60). Your camper may use the camp bank money on pizza, snacks, or apparel. Camp bank money does not work at the Duke Bookstore, but your camper may withdraw her funds at any time to use elsewhere. If you are interested in using the camp bank, please see the bank station at check in.
CAMP STORE: We will have a camp store open in the dorm during down time. Campers can purchase pizza (whole or by the slice), snacks, Gatorade, water, and Duke soccer apparel.
KEY DEPOSIT: There is a $100.00 key deposit due at registration. The deposit will be returned in exchange for your camper’s key at check out. Please make the key deposit check payable to Duke Soccer School for Girls and write your camper’s name on the memo line.
REFRIGERATORS & MICROWAVES: Our dorms rooms do not include refrigerators or microwaves. However, your camper will have access to the common room fridge and microwave.
ROOMMATES: Campers are assigned roommates based on their request during the registration process. If your camper is not coming with a roommate, we will assign her a roommate of similar age. If your camper would like to change/add her roommate, we must be notified at least one week prior to check in to accommodate the request.
TRIPLE ROOMS: Residential campers are typically housed two per room in the Duke dormitories. Triple rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
BOUNCED CHECK POLICY: There is an additional $25 fee for any checks that bounce.
CANCELLATIONS: $200.00 of your tuition is non-refundable for any reason. If injury, illness, or other circumstances make it impossible to attend camp, we must be notified one week prior to check in in order for you to be eligible for a partial refund.
If injury, illness, or other circumstances do not permit you to cancel prior to a week in advance, we will apply your entire tuition towards a future camp or clinic and you will not be eligible for a partial refund. Balances and deposits are transferable to family members only.
REFUND POLICY: After we have been notified of your cancellation and it has been determined (based on the cancellation policy) that you’re eligible for a refund or rollover, a formal request must be made in writing (email to email@example.com) no later than August 1 in order for the refund to be issued. Any request submitted after this date will not be accepted and you will forfeit your tuition. Refunds will not be issued until after August 1.
DUKE EMPLOYEE DISCOUNT: Duke employees may receive a $30.00 discount for each camper. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to receive the discount code to use during the online registration process.
TEAM DISCOUNT: We offer a $30.00 discount to all campers registering as part of team of 10 or more. Teams may room and play matches together if requested. If you would like to register as a team, please contact email@example.com to receive your team’s discount code to use during the online registration process (this is a change from year’s past when teams were required to mail in appliactions).
MEDICAL FORM: Your camper will not be allowed to play unless the medical form is completely filled out. The medical information you provide is necessary in the even your camper needs medical attention while camp is in session, so please answer all questions as thoroughly as possible. TRAINING STAFF: We will have athletic trainers on hand at all time to take care of your camper’s medical needs. A member of our athletic training staff will also stay overnight in the dorms in case of emergency.
ICE: Ice is available at the fields but we do not supply ice in the dorms. If your camper requires ice for an injury, please make sure they speak to our athletic trainers at the field and not at the dorm.
