Residential Camp:Camper Checklist

THINGS TO BRING: 
Single sheet-pillow-pillowcase-blanket or sleeping bag, towels, toiletry items and sunscreen.  Soccer Shoes (cleated and indoor) and shinguards.  Five day supply of socks, underwerar, shirts, shorts (There are 3 training sessions per day).  Ball-every camper MUST bring a ball to camp if she is not buying one at camp.  Cash: Camp Bank-you may deposit your money for safe keeping.  We recommend $30-40 for spending money, more if the camper wants to buy souvenirs while she is a camp. (Duke Soccer School for Girls is not responsible for money or other valuables unless they are deposited in the camp bank)

EACH CAMPER WILL RECEIVE:  
Nike Camp T-Shirt, Written and Oral Evaluation

MEDICAL INFORMATION:
A camper is not allowed to compete unless we have a fully completed health form, signed by a
physician, on file.  You can download the camp MEDICAL HISTORY FORM

CONFIRMATION:
Mail-in applications wil be responded to via e-mail (please include e-mail address on application).  On-line applications will receive immediate email confirmation.

KEY DEPOSIT:
Residential Campers will be required to pay a $60 (cash) deposit due at registration.  This will be given back at the end of camp upon return of key and card only.  DO NOT send the key deposit in advance.  For lost cards or keys, the deposit will be withheld-NO exceptions.  Commuter campers will be required to pay a $10 (cash) deposit due at registration for a dorm access card.  The card will enable commuters to enter the outside doors of camp dorms for rest times in our commuter commons rooms. 

TRANSPORTATION SHUTTLE: 
Shuttle service to and from the Raleigh-Durham airport, Durham Bus Station, and the Durham train station is available.  The service includes pickup at the baggage claim upon arrival and drop off outside the terminal at departure.  Interested campers need to check the appropriate box on the application or contact the camp office as soon as possible.  Times of arrival and departure are needed three (3) weeks prior to camp to confirm the shuttle reservation.  One-way shuttle fee is $25 and roundtrip shuttle fee is $50.

CANCELLATIONS: 
The deposit of ($200.00) is subtracted from the total fee, but is NON-REFUNDABLE.  However, if circumstances or injures make it impossible to attend our 2010 camp after you have sent in a depoist, this deposit can be rolled over to your 2011 camp tuition. 

ATTENDING BOTH SESSIONS:
Campers may attend both sessions June 10-14 and June 16-20.  A two session camper would stay in the same dorm and be fully supervised from June 16-18.  Meals would not be included and a $150 charge would be added for 2 nights lodging and supervision.  If you want to attend both sessions, check off both sessions on the application. 

CHECK IN:
Check in will be held from 10:30am to 12:30pm the first day of your camp at the Duke Baseball Complex (Jack Coombs Baseball Stadium) at 101 Whitford Drive, Just off Science Drive on Duke's WEST CAMPUS.  There will be a general camp meeting at 1:30 with a training session and evening games to follow.

CHECK OUT: 
Check out for all campers will take place in the dorms following the closing ceremonies in Koskinen Stadium at 10:00a.m.
