Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can parents come to watch games at camp?
A: Sure.  Each camp day typically ends with about an hour-and-a-half of 11v11 games or small-sided play.  Parents are welcome to attend these games.  The schedule for each day's games will be finalized by the beginning of the camp day so parents can find out when and where the camp teams are playing each day.  Daily camp games are posted on this site on the Camp Updates page.

Q: What happens if it rains?
A: The kids get wet.  Unless the fields are totally under water, we'll typically move the camp onto the turf fields behind Koskinen Stadium.  If the fields are unusable we may move into one of the Duke University Gyms.  Please check the Camp Updates page in the event of inclement weather.

Q: Do you provide evaulations for campers?

A: Each camper receives an honest and accurate written evaluation from the head coach.  Coaches are also responsible for conducting an oral evaluation to allow the camper an opportunity to ask questions and gain a more detailed evaluation.

Q: What about phones?

A: Campers are welcome to bring cell phones to be used in the dorms only.

Q: What do we need to pack for camp?

A: Things to Bring for found here.
