2019 Winter ID Camp Logistics

Greetings from Duke!

We’re excited to have everyone on campus Sunday for our Winter ID Camp. Full camp information is listed below.

8:30 am – Check in Begins
9:00 am – Introductions
9:10 am – Technical Work
10:00 am – Small-Sided Games
11:00 am – 11v11 Games
12:00 pm – Lunch + Recruiting Q&A
1:00 pm – Duke Video Breakdown
1:30 pm – Campus & Athletics Facilities Tour
3:00 pm – Closing Remarks & Camp Ends

Check In runs from 8:30-9:00 am Sunday, January 6 at Duke’s Cohen Fields off Frank Bassett Drive. Camp officially starts at 9 am so please arrive a few minutes early. For GPS, use 110 Frank Bassett Drive. We will send out parking info on Friday.

The forecast looks clear for Sunday in the Triangle with highs in the 50s.

All campers must have a completed medical form on file prior to the beginning of camp. You may use a high school physical from the past year, but please complete the contact and insurance portion of the Duke form. Email completed forms to dukesoccerschool@gmail.com prior to the start of camp.

An athletic trainer will be on hand at all times and we will provide water, Gatorade, and ice.

Lunch is provided, but please let us know ASAP if you have any dietary restrictions and/or allergies. We plan to play outside.

  • Soccer shoes/cleats (We will play on both turf and grass)
  • Shin guards
  • Soccer ball (Every camper MUST have a ball. You can bring one or purchase the Nike camp ball)
  • Flat-soled shoes
  • For GKs: Bring gloves, long sleeves, and if desired long pants (we will be on turf at times)
